Fort Myers Beach in Florida - Another Great Destination
Estero Island and San Carlos Island in Lee County, Florida together form the town of Fort Myers Beach. Local winter

and an excellent beachfront from which to observe marine life.

Times Square Fort Myers Beach Pier. Beach Seafood is a seafood market and restaurant, where the local catch can be sampled, including the
shrimps. Another popular pastime, solving murder mysteries, can be combined with dinner on the Seminole Gulf Railway's Murder Mystery Dinner
Train. The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is the venue for dinner with a famous musical show.
For lovers of history, there is much to learn and the Fort Myers Cultural Museum and Environmental Learning Center is a great
place to start. The Calusa Indians were present in this area and a three acre Calusa Shell Mound can be seen, which is of national archeological
interest. The museum offers a wealth of information on the ecological development of the region. Another insight into the Fort Myers Beach
past is found at the Southwest Florida Museum of History. There are exhibits and artifacts from prehistory to today and visitors can go on
walking tours or guided bus tours.
